Thrive launched our FIRST EVER, Thrive E-Learning Community (TEC) at our Arnold location in the Fall of 2020. Our TEC Program is designed to provide support for families who want their children to excel at e-learning while also getting as much physical activity and non-screen time during the day as possible. Students log on to their device during their synchronous school times while coaches provide support and encouragement. During lunch and break times, children are able to utilize our 5,000 sq ft gymnastics and ninja facility to run, play, jump and climb in a safe and physically distant environment. Thrive E-Learning Communities allow for both full and half day participation options, one to five days per week.

TEC Information
Ratios:
Students will be grouped in learning Pods of 8 to 10 students to one coach based on their grade level. Pods will utilize separate areas of the facility for instructional time and will be grouped together for P.E, Gymnastics, and Ninja classes.
What You Provide:
Thrive Families will send students with the following items each day:

Child’s backpack complete with all supplies needed for the day. All supplies should be labeled.

Child’s electronic device and charger for logging on to their e-learning platform. Please provide headphones with a microphone.

Nut-free lunch and snacks for the day.

Water bottle.

Child’s clothing (layers recommended) and 2 masks.

Any instructions for the day that will help the coach to assist your child (example: extra meetings with teachers, info on an area of study they are struggling with, etc.)
What We Provide:

A dedicated learning space for each student with more than 6 feet of distance from any other child.

Coaches who are committed to making this year fun and helping your child succeed academically.

Plentiful communication to parents when coaches see children struggling, excelling or just being wonderful.

Wi-Fi for online learning.

One Physical Education class per day and one Thrive specific instructional class per day for full day students, and EITHER One Physical Education class per day OR one Thrive specific instructional class per day for half day students.

A safe and fun space for recess and physical activity rain or shine!

Entertainment and adventure on Wednesdays after e-learning time.

Friendship, comradery and a community to help children excel during this unique time.
A Word About Thrive's Coaches:
Thrive’s coaches are educators at heart. This Fall our coaches are committed to helping your children succeed and enjoy e-learning. We will be utilizing our strong team of coaches to provide the best energy, effort and encouragement for your young learners. Many of our coaches have educational backgrounds or experience in elementary education, early childhood education or psychology so they are excited to use their skills to help our community. We take our role in your child’s e-learning education seriously and we are ready to provide the best environment for your child to learn, move and play.
Commitment & Tuition
Thrive’s E-Learning Community provides a place for children to belong, learn, move and grow. In an effort to build a strong community, we ask our families to commit to a consistent schedule and plan on being a part of our learning community through the semester. This helps children create bonds, develop a predictable routine and to experience greater academic success.
Thrive’s E-Learning Community Tuition is due on the 25th of the month before. All TEC families must have a valid credit card on file. Tuition not received by the 1st of the month will result in the cancellation of registration. If the center closes due to government mandates or Health Department mandates, tuition will not be refunded. If a child misses TEC days due to illness, Thrive will work with each family to reschedule or provide an appropriate credit. Refunds will not be issued for missed days.
