Competitive Team: Ages 3-18 Years Old

Thrive Gym believes in a healthy sport/life balance, a concept that our team coaches prioritize. We are committed to a positive coaching philosophy that uses gymnastics as a vehicle to build physical strength, confidence and self respect in your child. We love to use gymnastics to teach life lessons that our gymnasts will remember long after they have stopped competing. We are also committed to helping each child achieve their definition of success, not ours.

 
Thrive Gym strives to create a community that supports each other and provides each of our gymnasts with a sense of belonging and camaraderie. We want our children to know that whatever happens in life, they will always belong in our gym. Our goal is to create a sense of family and togetherness where our gymnasts lift each other up, talk each other through the tough moments and celebrate each other's success.
 

XCEL Team

The Xcel League was developed by USA Gymnastics as an alternative for the Junior Olympic Gymnastics League. The Xcel league is a more relaxed recreational league that allows children to compete in gymnastics without the intense time required for the J.O League. Gymnasts are able to progress through 5 levels of competition.

XCEL is offered at both our Annapolis and Arnold Locations!

Levels Currently Offered: Pre Team, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum**, Diamond**

**Platinum and Diamond only offered at Thrive Annapolis

Practice Length: 2-3 hours

Practice Frequency: 2-3 days a week

 

J.O. Team

The Junior Olympic program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows gymnasts to advance at their own pace, competing in more than one level in a year if they choose. This program is broken up into 3 segments including Developmental (Level 1-3) , Compulsory (Level 4-5), Optionals (Level 6-10).

Levels Currently Offered: Mini Team**, Pre Team**, 3**, 4**, 6**, 7** 

**Only offered at Thrive Annapolis

Practice Length: 1.5-4 hours

Practice Frequency: 2-4 days a week
